Teixidors products are made from high quality materials. This characteristic guarantees good results when washed, both in industrial and domestic processes. As such, this product can be dry cleaned and left in the hands of a trusted professional or washed in compliance with the following instructions:

Washing Instructions:
–Use the lightest wool cycle on your washing machine, the one with the lowest mechanical action, which is usually indicated with a hand symbol.
–The water temperature should not exceed 30º.
–Wash with few other items. It’s very important that item has space in the washing machine drum.
–When the item has completed its spin cycle (on a delicate setting), and before ironing and drying,  gently stretch it out in each direction. This restores it to its original proportions.

Ironing & Drying:
–If the item has fringes, smooth and untangle them while it is still damp as it is more difficult when the item is dry. Use your fingers or a wide-toothed comb. What also works well is holding the item above the fringes (between 30 and 50cm) and shaking it (like a little whip).
Iron directly onto the damp item with the iron set to a low temperature and iron from the centre out towards the edges. The item will dry quickly when it comes into contact with the iron, but once the creases have been removed, there is no need to continue. You can let it dry naturally.

As such, this product can be dry cleaned and left in the hands of a trusted professional or washed in compliance with the following instructions:

Hand Wash:
–Use a large recipient (washbowl, bathtub…) filled with lukewarm water (30º-40º) to a level that enables the item to be completely submerged.
–Dissolve detergent specially designated for wool in the water and submerge the item, while lightly pressing it down.
–Leave the item to soak for a few minutes. Then press the entire surface of the item against the base of the recipient and move it around gently in the water.
–Do not wring or scrub the item unless you wish to remove a localized stain, in which case do so with care, and only in the affected area.
–If the item is heavily soiled, refill the water, add more detergent and repeat the process, if not, move straight on to rinsing.

Rinsing:
–Discard the washing water and cover the item with clean water.
–Repeat the action of pressing the item against the base of the recipient.
–You may repeat the process, adding a little fabric softener to the rinsing water if you wish.

Draining:
–Let the item drain by itself for a few minutes.
–Use the washing machine to spin the item, set to a delicate spin cycle. One spin cycle is sufficient.
