Como lavar y cuidar las mantas de lana merino; lana cashmere o lino
Nuestras piezas están elaboradas a partir de fibras naturales y trabajadas de manera artesanal, respetando al máximo la materia prima y sus propiedades. Cada tejido es único: pequeñas variaciones en el color, la textura o el entramado forman parte del proceso manual y son una expresión auténtica de su origen artesanal, lejos de cualquier producción industrial estandarizada.
Nuestras fibras naturales no han sido sometidas a tratamientos químicos agresivos como antipilling, antiencogimiento o siliconas. Esto permite que el material se comporte de forma natural, evolucionando suavemente con el uso y el paso del tiempo, y conservando su autenticidad, transpirabilidad y confort.
Con un mantenimiento adecuado, una manta de lana merina, cashmere o lino de Teixidors está pensada para perdurar durante muchos años. Su aspecto puede transformarse con el uso, ganando suavidad y carácter, sin perder calidad ni estructura.
Por ello, seguir unas sencillas pautas de cuidado es esencial para acompañar y respetar la vida natural del tejido.

Como lavar y secar una manta de lana
La mantas de lana merina no requieren de lavados con frecuencia; airear la pieza regularmente en un lugar seco, protegiendo del sol directo, es a menudo suficiente para mantenerla fresca. Antes de lavar la pieza se recomienda eliminar las bolitas o pilling que pueden haberse formado. Este pilling es normal en fibras naturales pueden retirarse con suavidad utilizando un cepillo o peine especifico de cerdas naturales. Se recomienda limpieza en seco (símbolo P) acudiendo en a establecimientos especializados en fibras naturales. En el caso de optar por lavarlas en casa lavar a mano en agua fría, usando un jabón neutro para lana o fibras delicadas. No frotar ni retocer la fibra, sumergir suavemente la pieza, remover el agua con las manos y emjugar con agua fria a la misma temperatura. No utilizar la secadora (el calor y la fricción dañan las fibras) , secar en plano sin colgar la pieza húmeda para que no se deforme. Si se requiere planchado a baja temperatura y con vapor poniendo un paño entre la pieza de tejido y la plancha.
Consejos de cuidado
Elimina siempre las manchas rápidamente de esta forma evitarás tener que lavarlas a mano o llevarlas a la tintorería. Usa un paño húmedo con agua fría < 40º y deslízalo suavemente sobre las mancha, no frotes intesamente ya que puede dañar las fibras. Evita el uso de suavizantes y blanqueadores. Los suavizantes dañan las fibras naturales y afectan directamente a la transpirabilidad de la manta por tanto afectan a las propiedades termorreguladoras de las mantas de lana.

Almacena tus mantas de lana merina u otras fibras naturales en un lugar fresco y seco. Guarda tus mantas de lana o accesorios en una bolsa de algodón de forma que la lana pueda transpirar. Evita guardar en bolsas de plástico herméticas ya que esto afecta directamente a su transpirabilidad. Evita la luz directa del sol ya que puede afectar a la coloración de las fibras es mejor mantener las mantas en un lugar oscuro como el interior de un armario o comoda.
