The delicate edge trims of the Yamaat blanket contrast subtly with the natural light grey colour of its base, created from a combination of sustainable cashmere, sustainably sourced yak wool and organic merino wool.
As a new addition, Yamaat features new colour variations along the edges, created using plant-based dyes by an artist in a small workshop in Barcelona, using roots and flowers and following ancestral recipes. These natural shades add a delicate contrast to the blanket while celebrating the richness of traditional dyeing processes.
Made with responsibly sourced fibres and handwoven on a traditional loom, Yamaat combines the exquisite softness of cashmere and merino wool with conscious production and artisanal craftsmanship.

Tuin, Yamaat and Nébula gris form the sustainable cashmere collection at Teixidors. They are handwoven with a small percentage of yak wool and complemented with merino wool, all from sustainable backgrounds.
Cashmere is the most valued yarn and worldwide demand has led to over-exploitation of natural resources. Conscious of this at Teixidors we support a cooperative livestock farm in Mongolia that guarantees respectful care for the animals, the environment and the processes of collecting the cashmere.
In addition, we explore mixtures with other high quality fibres producing extraordinarily light and soft fabrics, thus adding value to each gram of this superior quality fibre
