Wash/Clean
Wipe dry with a soft, clean cloth if you get your jacket wet. And wipe clean with a damp cloth if you get your jacket dirty. You can use a little chemical-free soap if you need to. Dry by hanging on a good quality hanger (not a wire hanger…) in a well-ventilated room away from any direct heat sources (such as heaters) and out of direct sunlight.
Tips
When you’re not wearing your jacket, don’t store it in plastic as this will dry the leather out. Always hang it on a strong, good quality hanger to help keep its shape. Avoid folding it. And always keep your jacket out of direct sunlight, which will fade it.
Storage
Apply a good leather conditioner or cream once in a while to keep your jacket soft and supple. And if your jacket ever needs repairing, take it to a reputable repair person.
