Exploring The Bauhaus movement
The Origin of Color and Form
The first issue of the TRAMA publication explores the Bauhaus movement. It is not just a design school; it is also a way of understanding the world.
It is rational, essential, and deeply human. This issue traces a journey that connects history, art, architecture, and color — from ancestral pigments to the revolutionary proposals of the 20th century.
Within its pages, it examines how Bauhaus gave color a leading role in modern design. Johannes Itten, Josef Albers, Kandinsky, and Moholy-Nagy, among others, transformed color into a tool for thought. From the color wheel to the visual synesthesia between shapes and emotions, Bauhaus turned primary colors into universal symbols of clarity, order, and expression.
Red, yellow, and blue ceased to be mere tones and became a structural language. The straight line, the square, the circle: basic elements with transformative power. The influence of the movement crosses disciplines: art, graphic design, architecture, fashion… and today, also natural fiber weaving.

Everything changes. Everything is reconsidered. Only one thing remains: the fierce curiosity that drives us.
